We're excited to announce that Made From The Heart has relaunched as Woven Root - a refreshed platform built to be easier to read, easier to use, and more connected to the community it serves.
Why the change?
A clearer, more comfortable reading experience: We rebuilt the site with typography and layout designed for ease of reading across devices, so stories, how-tos, and event details are accessible and welcoming.
Simpler event sign-up: Registering for workshops and gatherings is now straightforward. Event pages show what you need to know up front: who’s leading it, materials, time, location, and capacity.
Practical knowledge, presented well: Guides, recipes, patterns, and essays are organized so you can find what you need quickly, whether you’re learning a new craft or deepening an existing skill.
Keeping the mission, expanding the reach Woven Root continues the spirit of Made From The Heart: celebrating handmade practice, shared knowledge, and the people behind the work. We’re growing that mission by collaborating with like-minded businesses and organizations. These partnerships help us host more events, create richer content, and bring diverse perspectives into the mix while staying true to the values that started this project.
Growing the community Community is the reason this project exists. We’re actively inviting:
