Designed by Noor Al Nabeeh in Gaza,Palestine. 

This piece tells the story of  resistance, hope and love. The olive tree is known to be one of the most resistant force of nature to exist on this earth. Resisting droughts, and the constant destruction by its oppressors.

Like its people, with unwavering faith, it has stood its own ground time and time again. The poppies is always a remembrance for the martyrs who stood against oppression and love for its people. 

Surrounded with Gazan motifs of the Shaqih which means Crack. The Gazan ladies used to stitch this motif to fill between spaces for their thobes to not leave empty spots on their beautiful dresses. 

This beautiful design is taken to Muhammad Aslam in Pakistan in Sindh area where he has taken over 3 months by hand to bring this story to life.

Composition: 60% silk, 40% imported NZ wool
